Surface Magic Water Surface Cleane Review

I contacted the manufacturer before purchasing this "Magic Stuff" and they were very vague (almost secretive) as to what it does.
They seemed to indicate that it "Magically" made floating debris somehow quickly find it's way to the skimmer basket.

I didn't understand how a few drops of stuff could do that, but I was intrigued enough that I bought it.

I'm STILL not sure what it does.

When you put it in the pool, floating debris DOES seem to "Magically" disappear, but it's not clear where it goes.

It doesn't find it's way to the skimmer.
I think it sinks to the bottom.

I suspect it changes the surface tension of the water and the debris sinks to the bottom.

Whether I'd rather leave things alone and have the stuff picked up by the skimmer, or add the MAGIC and have it sink to the bottom and get vacuumed - I'm not sure.

I doubt I'll be buying more.

I used an algea product that I bought at a large pet supply store, only to find in small print, the fact you should not use around people and pets!????What??? Safe for fish, killer for people and pets! After my little dog Maizie developed hideous tumors and died, I believe it.The Ginesis products HOWEVER are not that type of product!Thankyou Ginesis for making fish, pet and people safe, enviromentally friendly products.I am happy with the clarity of the water, I still have some algea, but what pond doesn't!?I am very happy with your product.Yes, it might be alittle more expensive, at first, but a little goes a long, long way!I thank you, and my other pups thank you as well.I am not so freaked out about them crossing the stream and getting cancer.I will now check out your other products!

The label was somewhat confusing as to the amount to use. All that was needed was a simple ratio such as mix one ounce per Gallon of water. Be careful not to use too much, the label said mix 4OZ with a gallon but be careful as that is for a big pond they use as an example. Too much information can be confusing. Seems to clear up the fish pond OK.

Water Wand Filter Cartridge Cleaning Tool Review

#1 - Amazon - this is not a toy.

#2 - This is a piece of junk.It leaks sooo much, that there is hardly any pressure left for the nozzles that are supposed to wash out the filter folds.It leaks where it attaches to the hose.The supposed flow restrictor on top just lets water come streaming out.It leaks out the seams of the plastic.By the time you get to the tips, there's no water left!
