I had a previous version of this booster pump to run water fountains and pool cleaner.it has metal fitting and I was required to replace them every year.The main pump timer went out and the booster timer kick in when there was no water running through the system and the pump froze.I ordered the new pump it arrive in a shorter time than expected. I changed out the pumps my self in about 30 min.the new pump comes with PVC fittings and I should not have the rusting problem as with the old pump. New Pump runs great.
